Thats right. Slipknot is re-releasing a special edition of their self-titled album on September 9th to mark the 10th year anniversary of its original release.

Release Date: 9th September  2009

Update (23rd July 2009): The CD/DVD set will feature a digipack packaging and a total of 25 songs, which include the original album and various unreleased cuts and demo tracks. The DVD will contain a lot of behind-the-scenes footage and early live shows. There will also be a super-delux box set version which will come in a packaging that resembles a security deposit box, and will contain a T-shirt, patch, key-chain, collectible cards and a note from vocalist Corey Taylor.

Legendary guitarist Steve Vai is set to release his latest live DVD titled “Where The Wild Things Are” on September 29th, 2009. The show was filmed in Minneapolis during his Sound Theories world tour.
